National Coffee Day is for the Birds

Yesterday was National Coffee Day – so I found out this morning from a blurb on an Indian website. Hmmmmm…..there was no free coffee anywhere around yesterday. Me, being the number 1 coffee addict in my general vicinity would zoom in on that like a scud missle….when I ordered a large soy cafe latte from the Bluebird Cafe (my first time – nice cup) the Barista smiled and took my money. And when I ironically (I personally don’t mind irony – it’s part of life) bought a one pound bag of coffee beans (Ethiopean) at the grocery store the cashier charged me as usual.
